Traveling to Houston from Austin and stopped in a normal Exxon. No pricing on about 90% of the items. I grab a Red Bull and ask the clerk about the lack of pricing. I’m not going to buy items if there aren’t prices listed. He says “I cannot afford to do that every week as prices change.” I said that’s a dumb policy and he looks at me like I have a second head. Is this a new thing?

That's quite an inconvenience.

about half of the convenience stores near me do this. Companies are definitely jerking them around. Even "cheap" candy bars like Zagnut are almost $3 right now. its stupid. Prices are constantly changing

None of the indian gas stations near me have prices on anything. I quit going because of that reason.

If you owned the business, you would think the same if you had to change prices every single week

People say they size you up and charge based on what they think they can get out of you. Some people are to embarrassed to return the item.

He’s bypassing the snap regulation on junk food and ringing up the food as something approved.

They change the price on a person to person basis.

I grabbed some beer and various items( no prices ) at an Indian/Paki store near my friends Airbnb in Rome. He said he got ripped off for the same things when he was getting them. The difference was is that I looked local and spoke the language. So there is something to it.

They just charge what they feel like charging at the moment. In a downtown building I worked in, there was a “stop n rob” as we called it. She’d sell postage stamps for .50 back when they were still like .35.

The Hi Nabor grocery store on Jones Creek now has an electronic tab under each item. I'm assuming that's so they can change prices easily.

It is because they are charging damn near double what it costs for most everything & lazy retards that can't be assed to go to a grocery store to pay a reasonable price show up everyday to buy their junk & give away all of their money.
