Important reminder about one thing Mitt Romney was correct on

When he said 47% are automatic Ds no matter what. The only question is if it is still 47% or higher
Point being, is at least or close to half the country just does not care about any of the political back and forth and whether Trump made the Ds look bad or some viral X clip where the Ds look stupid or got owned
They simply vote D because the Ds take shite from R voters and give it it back to their patronage network. They just vote for their shite (unlimited welfare state, open borders, and amnesty)
There is no amount of “debate” , facts, or logic that will persuade them away from their shite they want.
It’s important to understand that our political tradition is a very Western and Euro/White way of doing things. All the new immigrants don’t look at politics the same way and are not wired the same way. Much more tribal and focused on acquiring as many resources for themselves in the fastest, most unrestricted way possible with not a single thought on downstream or long term cause and effect consequences of these policies.

If you look at the debt versus what we've spent in social programs on the 47% that pay no taxes, the numbers aren't far off. We are essentially borrowing the $ the left buys votes with.

It might be higher now with illegals and Dem fraud, but the historical bedrock number for Dem POTUS voting is around 40%.

The changes since that statement include an increase of unmarried white women who vote D as a husband substitute, industrial union workers who realize that the Ds aren’t their home anymore, illegals voting D, black men beginning to understand that Ds and black women do not respect them, and men of all races beginning to understand that the D’s emotional governance fails, and they are searching the Rs for an intellectually rational home.

Mittens also got attacked for saying Russia was a problem. Obama told him "the 1980s called and they want their foreign policy back."
4 years later, Hilary and Obama were talking about Russia interference and it comes to light that it was they and the Russians.

I think it’s way higher than 47% at this point. But motivation to vote remains a problem on both sides. Almost half of self-proclaimed conservative Christians don't even vote. Get that demographic alone into the voting booth, and the US would be permanently deep red.
The Right has to effectively and ethically demoralize the Left and keep them sitting at home when the polls open. I think the SAVE Act would greatly help that, since the majority of them know damn well that they're only actually winning because of fraud.
