If tweet fails to load, click here. Mexican President Claudia Sheinbuam is now threatening to SUE ELON MUSK because he said she is controlled by the cartels
"We're considering whether to take legal action. Lawyers are looking into it."
Sheinbaum has REFUSED to let President Trump obliterate the cartels and they only took out the latest cartel kingpin El Mencho after MONTHS of pressure.
Maybe she should STEP IT UP and let Trump finish the job if she's not actually scared of her cartel overlords.
EXTERMINATE THE CARTELS.

A judgment from a Mexican court is worth how much?

What is the end-all defense for libel / slander again?

It looks like they can but hopefully they don't get an activist judge like boasberg.
AI Overview
Other countries sue American citizens by using international treaties like the Hague Service Convention to serve papers, or through diplomatic channels such as letters rogatory

If nothing else, Elon could have her investigated and have all her communications to cartels disclosed? How would that work with a foreign dignitary?

ShineFraud knows Elon knows what's up.

Well she probably is. Corruption combined with the insane amount of money cartels have at their disposal… As a country, Mexico is institutionally corrupted. They can’t fix this alone. They need US intelligence and unlimited firepower.

I would think Elon could gather sufficient evidence if necessary

Didn’t the cartel murder the 24 other candidates and this was the only choice that was left?
Wild how that happened.

Other countries typically sue the U.S. government by filing civil lawsuits in U.S. federal courts,
Elon isnt part of the government. She would be suing a private citizen of another country

How racist is this white bitch to attack an African American in such a manner.

Would be no damages. Being accused of conspiring with drug cartels in Mexico is standard fare.

Fixed it...I asked the wrong question. The answer was:
"Other countries sue American citizens by using international treaties like the Hague Service Convention to serve papers, or through diplomatic channels such as letters rogatory. They can initiate lawsuits in U.S. courts if the American has assets or a physical presence in the U.S., or they may secure a foreign judgment and seek to enforce it in American courts, provided it meets U.S. due process standards"

I have used the Hague for service issues in the states but you must have in personam jurisdiction and Elon saying something does not equate to action in Mexico.
She can, of course, sue him in the US and get jurisdiction but good luck with that.
