I have used the Hague for service issues in the states but you must have in personam jurisdiction and Elon saying something does not equate to action in Mexico.
She can, of course, sue him in the US and get jurisdiction but good luck with that.
So it's basically empty threats?

My bet says she is complicit.....Mexico will stay cartel based for a long time.

In the US, truth is an absolute defense for libel/slander cases

Unless Trump designates the cartels terrorists and reveal she was installed just as maduro was?

The entire MX GOV is and has been influenced and controlled by the cartels for years. That includes their police and military. If that was not the case the cartels would have been eliminated decades ago. The common Mexican citizen is kind and friendly as hell - some of the best folks I have ever met - but they are living with rampant corruption from their GOV and the cartels. It is a damn shame and the situation needs to change. Big time.

A judgment from a Mexican court is worth how much?
¿Tres pesos?

Is any doubting that she is controlled by Cartels? She did get elected. Are we supposed to believe that a President of Mexico could get elected without the approval of the cartels?

BREAKING: Mexican President Claudia Sheinbuam is now threatening to SUE ELON MUSK because he said she is controlled by the cartels
Translation: Sheinbaum reached an agreement with a cartel underling to use the Mexican Army to promote said underling and for her to have ammunition to sue Elon with. Both sides win.

Well, two things can happen. She can sue in Mexico and get a huge judgment against Elon. How to collect? Have to either seize his personal assets (maybe attempt X but that would be suicide) or take that judgment to the US and try and collect. Unlikely since they did not have jurisdiction.
Or, sue Elon in US and take your chances proving your case (unlikely)
So... yes, empty threat. Unlike Trump debanking lawsuit which he should win.

Wouldn't she like have to sue everyone in America (and many other countries) because it's no secret that the Mexican government is controlled by the cartels.

How can you sue someone from a different country?
