Senator James Lankford from Oklahoma destroys that narrative…

Let’s say “prior” criminal arrests, to now go with their illegal entry.

This is accurate.

You don’t have a “record” until convicted of a crime in a court of law based on competent evidence.

Many here would love for ICE to be “judge, jury, and executioner.”

The Constitution doesn’t work that way, I’m afraid.

It's technically true.

It's NOT accurate.

Every illegal here has committed a misdemeanor and every one of them that has used a stolen SS number to pay taxes and/or receive some sort of government benefits has committed a felony.

Now, estimates that I have seen say that somewhere between 50% and 75% of illegals pay federal income taxes.

Yet there are only about 2.5 million ITIN numbers (numbers issued by the IRS to people who can't get a SS number) active currently, and legal immigrants and other classifications of people use those numbers too. So maybe 2 million are for illegals.

Let's say that there are 20 million illegals in country right now, which I think is a pretty conservative estimate.

If 75% are paying federal income taxes, that's 15 million, and only 2 million are using ITINs.

So 14% of illegals may have a criminal record, but the number of illegals committing crimes is much, much higher.

Obviously if we count the misdemeanors the number is 100%. But even if we're only talking about felonies it's over 50%.

What the hell are you talking about?

Nowhere in the constitution are illegals afforded a jury trial.

Due process for immigration proceedings is far different than due process in a criminal court

Hail, Hail, True immigration court is far different most dont realize.

Wack, I think your number is waaay to high. Most illegals work private jobs, and many who work for companies do so "off the books".

Id also like to add those that do have a ss# and have tax deducted. Many use earned income tax credit (what a name) to file. Not only do they get their money back, but also their employer tax paid on their behalf. So technically they "pay" a tax, and then get it back along with extra.

Earned income tax credit has exploded since it was first introduced and the whiz kids at congress quietly moved it over to non discretionary funding to ensure it couldnt be negotiated.

IRS admits its filled with fraud. Know how they know. Jose the acct goes to the chicken factory and says give me your W2, ss# and come ill give you 200 bucks. He then fills out the tax forms has the refund come to his business, then gives them 200.

They realized there was a problem when 15 checks went to the same address.....in Tijuana.

Let’s entertain the thought that a party intentionally allows 20 million illegal, non documented, not vetted, no requirements enforced immigrants across an open border.

They have their reasons. All of which put them in power in perpetuity with the added bonus of transforming a country culturally.

Now for someone to remedy this crime, 20 million noncitizens get a court date and a lawyer…

Walk me through the timeline on this 20 million times.

You can admit it was a brilliantly evil plan and save yourself the hernia.

They're all illegal and have in fact committed a crime. They just haven't been convicted yet.

But does that 14% number include: drug dealing, theft, DWIs, etc.?
Hint…it doesn’t.

They should have very limited rights. Basically, enough to treat them humanely and ship them home.

Anybody who believes a person should be able to step across the border and then have full access to our legal system and have an attorney appointed is retarded.

I have a friend that is an immigration attorney. I was just speaking with him about how busy work has been and it was interesting. He said he has not seen a recent request from anyone in custody for representation by anyone that looked to be collateral damage. Everyone in custody that has come to him has been a violent criminal that needed to be deported. It was quite an interesting convo about what he is seeing in the system.
