A little wonky in the driving sequences, and a little heavy on the mascara.

But remember last year when AI couldn’t illustrate hands?

We are so screwed.

AI Porn in a few years is going to be un-fricking believable.

I've seen amateur AI generated stuff on YouTube that beats the piss out of anything Hollywood is making. I've seen, for example Justice League concept trailers that look for more interesting (and comic-accurate) than anything Zack Snyder or James Gunn have done.

I liked the part where the Cybertruck sounded like it had a V8 in it

Each studio is going to require its own data center, a building with a footprint the size of Pensacola. We are still going to slow roll the building of nuclear reactors for electricity, so we will all be required to not use electricity for A/C or heat.

A few more gigawatts of power could have given the AI blonde a decent rack.

Looks a lot more like AI Slop than a $200M movie.

It was made in a day.

I suspect there might be a larger point being made here than what you think of the clip shown.

I am sure the filmmakers using matte paintings and miniatures thought the same about green screens

All it showed is crappy special effects and a bunch of ADHD 3 second clips. It can make an action sequence with no emotion and just explosions.

It is cool but a long way from making a movie.

It's beyond me how anyone thinks this is cool. Yes, it's impressive from a technological standpoint but all this does is give the movie industry even more incentive to fill 2 hours with nonstop frenetic "action" and spend about 15 minutes actually writing the story. Character development? Exposition? Slow burn? Good luck with all that. But did you see when the guy jumped out of the flaming helicopter into the Ferrari and jumped over the water filled with sharks with fricking laser beams attached to their heads???!!

All of this is designed to turn your brain off and make you stop thinking about anything. There's a place for that, but it shouldn't be the majority of major films released. No one will remember any of the characters. Just the stunts (until the next one comes out and tops the former coolest CGI feat). It's so bad that buildings collapsing, spaceships blowing up, fast cars speeding, and machine guns blazing have become boring.

If the only good thing that comes from AI is Hollywood collapses, it will be worth it.

As compared to what, Avengers:Endgame?

Most action movies scenes are created on green screens using AI now.

The point is now you can do that even if you aren’t Michael Bay with a $250M budget.

That’s downstream of the inputs provided by the creator/director.

If you’re making a highlight film to show what something’s capabilities are rather than composing something cohesive it kind of fits. This isn’t exactly being sent to theaters tomorrow.

I don’t think the point was to make an actual movie, it was to show that an actual movie could be made for virtually no budget by virtually anyone now.

Cybertrucks must have one hell of an AC; otherwise, why did the hot chick’s hair blow while the windows were up while driving the it?
