One of the worst GM hires in history. He was completely unqualified. Dumbass blows up a team that was 14-3 the prior season. All to draft a QB who threw for more than 200 yards ONE GAME during his last year at Michigan. A QB that every person that just watches football knows is never going to be a franchise QB. And to have the guy you shipped off take his team to the stupid bowl kinda left the Vikings no choice. What an absolute idiot.
Unfortunately, he probably sealed O’Connell’s fate too with his stupid decisions. Typical DEI hire based on his color over qualifications.

I don’t know anything about this GM but I have a hard time thinking that was solely his call. Their head coach is a supposed QB guru and I’m sure McCarthy was his guy. Ownership has to agree with a move like that too. Somebody had to take the fall though I guess.

Born in New Jersey, spends 9 seasons in NFL front offices, then named GM for a team that had 2 losing seasons in a row, goes 42-25 w/ 2 playoff appearances is an unqualified Somalian disaster as GM.
