Combination of a bad record pre and post Brady, Brady winning in TB, the cheating allegations, the quick recovery in New England after he left, and the UNC clown show.

It's the Brady effect. Great coach with Brady. Nothing special without. I'm not agreeing with the logic, just explaining it.
Besides, I have no idea what criteria they use for coaches. Never understood how Jimmy Johnson got in the hall of fame. He had 2 great years back to back, the rest were very pedestrian.

If he’s not first ballot, no coach should ever be. Strip the idiots who didn’t vote for him of their vote. They don’t deserve it.
