Joe is about to dig the hole even deeper by trading off the 2027 pick too

What a crock…outside of the rookies nobody wants our assets nor will fair value be received for them.

The only thing that will be ultra aggressive is Dumars unloading players for pennies on the dollar. We’re about to get fleeced again as this poverty franchise shows its irrelevance.

Scoop just reposted this:

quote:

New Orleans had reportedly offered a trade package of Jordan Poole & Dejounte Murray for Ja Morant & Kentavious Caldwell-Pope. Memphis asked for a first round pick and New Orleans wasn’t willing to give one up.

Explain how you get rid of the two biggest and worst contracts on your roster AND you want to add a first in 2026? Yet, you say all your actual assets are untouchable?

Dumars needs to lay off the Hennessy and weed.

As long as “ultra aggressive” means as sellers and not buyers then good…problem is I don’t trust our front office to do that.

Well that’s about the only route they have at this sad point.

To be even a semi serious team, we need a PG and Center. Do what you can.

1) We need to 1000% be selling. Other than Queen and Fears everyone else should be traded if the value is good.

2) I actually don't mind the Morant/KCP for Murray/Poole trade as long as we don't give up any picks.

Unless I’m misunderstanding this; Dumars is not willing to give up our first in 2027, not that he’s asking for one.

This just means we’re about to get another player on a bad contract that doesn’t fit.

I mean if there is any protection on it at all, I probably ain’t going to be mad.

Is Murray going to be any good after the injury?

Seems like my trade idea I made months ago was more realistic than Poole and Murray.

quote:

Ja, Clarke, KCP for Zion, Murray and Alvarado works in the trade machine.

Murray has to get in the court and get his value back up.

It would be fun. Either Ja returns to form/rehabs his value, or the shitshow gets even worse.

If the grizzlies offered Ja and kcp for the worthless Murray and Poole deals and we said no over a first, that’s probably a mistake. Poole is a gigantic net negative. Murray has 2 more years after torn ACL
