The Titans are certainly an interesting organization

I know the job wasn’t that appealing, but this still feels pretty mediocre.

The fired Mike Vrabel who quickly has taken the Patriots to the AFCCG

And already fired the coach they replaced him with, and replacing him with a guy that already failed at another shite org

(I think Saleh is obviously a very good DC)

I don't think anyone understood them firing Vrabel. I'd be pissed if I was a titans fan. Saleh is a fine dc but looked overwhelmed as a head coach.

Saleh's resume was brief "I was trying to win with the Jets and almost did"

“One thing I can promise you- I’m not gonna be a perennial 8-9/9-8 coach.”

If Cam Ward plays in 2026 how Maye did in 2025, I think they'll be fine.

I agree I was just pointing out more of why the Pats are where they are today. Vrabel is fine but the reason they're doing so well is Maye and a few other additions (like Diggs, Henderson, etc.)

If Cam Ward takes that sort of a leap, then Saleh will look very good. That's what Zach Wilson never did and it kneecapped him in New York.

Vrabel played a huge part in that construction tho, he’s got control of the strings there. Hard to downplay the effect he’s had to set up Maye for that leap and his ability to connect with the roster and game management skills to get the most out of what is still a pretty average to below average talented roster. Mayo with the same Maye outbreak probably scrapes together 8 wins

I'm not super stoked about Saleh but at least its not Nagy.

The Titans need a strong leader who players actually want to play for and who demands accountability. I think Saleh has those traits.

If he can get a good OC to develop Cam, I think that's about as much as you can hope for realistically, considering the current state of the Titans.

I'm just hoping his tenure with the Jets didn't work out simply because it's the Jets.

I guess he looked around and saw 10 openings and figured this was the best cycle he'd get for a while

For someone who had the Jets on the right path, I'm still shocked he'd accept another trash franchise instead of waiting for something better

Meh hire.

But Saleh better hire a young and creative OC to go with Ward. Rams passing game coordinator would be ideal if he doesn't get a head coaching gig.
