Newly Hired LSU Position Coach Done Coaching Ole Miss | Weis Will Finish Playoffs

Position coaches will be staying with LSU to assist with transfer portal process.
EDIT: Awaiting further confirmation on all position coaches, RB coach Kevin Smith will be with LSU going forward.

I read it differently. To me it says Smith is the only one staying. The others are planning on returning to ole Miss. am I reading g this wrong ?

Yeah it’s way past time. Ole Miss is using our coaches to coach games and our old coaches to recruit.
This arrangement has always been stupid. Kiffin is an idiot for trying to save face and LSU is equally stupid for incentivizing Ole Miss coaches to win games for ole Miss. The media was going to give him hell regardless of the timing and everyone involved should have owned their grownup decision to continue career elsewhere.
And of course now the narrative is “ole miss didn’t need Kiffin to win”. You can’t give unreasonable people an inch.

Hard to make an argument that Kevin smith is needed when they trotted out our interim coach to their sidelines what 5 days after our bowl game?

Curious how it will look if they whine about tampering then whine because assistants aren't going back to coach.... they can't have it both ways. So my opinion is.. screw them and the horse they rode in on.

These Asst coaches need lawyers.
OM has handled this like a woman scorned from the get go ( their AD setting the tone) and the old OM coaches are now damned if the do continue and damned if they don’t. They will be accused of letting down the team if the leave while the Rebs/ Bears are still in playoffs, but accused of tampering with OM. Players with or without any good cause, b/c of proximity to them during this time, if they follow the coach to LSU.
These coaches are in a no win situation.
And once they leave OM ‘s AD will turn on them.

A repeat question: are these coaches getting paid by O.Miss & LSU (per their contracts with LSU)?
