Hopefully he can bring us back to the Joe Moore level OL he built in 2019

Going into the 2019 season, everyone had the OL as the weak link.

There is a tremendous amount of help an OL can get from a capable scheme and QB who knows how to (1) audible into proper protection and (2) audible into plays that exploit the defensive alignment. There were several plays each game when Joe would see the front seven overloaded and audible to run to the depleted side.

Burrow and Brady and Esminger earned that Joe Moore trophy as much as the OL did.

As long as we have Burrow coming in we'll be fine. The line was not great that year. Very inconsistent. Burrow just escaped like a pro.

Burrow + Clyde’s spin move helped make that OL look a lot better than it actually was.

Cregg is an awful OL coach. He was a horrible recruiter and a pretty bad developer too. I'm kinda surprised they let him back after he dropped a lawsuit on LSU. Don't honestly care as long as he's not the full time OL coach.

All of them made an nfl roster and hung around multiple years. They were good. Cush and Lewis still playing. Can’t ask for better than that.

Cush, Ingram, and Lewis were pretty good. Cush and Lewis are still starters in the league. Burrow and Clyde no doubt made them look good but that line had talent and was 10x better than what we saw this year. Our Tackles weren’t all world but I did see Deculus playing backup LT the other day for somebody.

But yet, Clyde Edwards-Heliare rushed for over 1400 yds and 14 TD's behind that line.

NFL is not the same as NCAA. You'll never get coaches to admit it but just because you can coach in the NFL doesn't mean you're good at the college level.

LSU had a good OL in 2019 and that was it under him. He left the OL room cupboard horribly bare because he was a bad recruiter. His OLs way under performed outside 2019 too.

Pretty rich to call people dumbass fans when LSU fired him and then he sued. If he was so good then why did all his OLs fall under their performance reviews and they were looking for an excuse to can him? Do you see him getting head OL jobs anywhere else? Also, the 2019 line was in place for him already. It wasn't him that put them in.
