Property Tax due 31 January of each year.
Mortgage on the 14th of each month (2.55% not on my primary residence means I’m gonna ride it down)

Mine are due by February 1st but thanks for the reminder that it costs approximately $400/month to occupy property I own outright. It’s infuriating

I’m not a tax guy, but why not pay in 2025 to secure the SALT deduction?

No mortgage (house paid off), but just paid property taxes yesterday and it was $1000. Absolutely ridiculous to pay taxes for something that's already paid off. Government are nothing but a bunch of thieves.

He probably has a paid off mortgage. He didn't mention property taxes.

If you are lucky enough to live in Orleans parish you will actually be paying for 2026’s property taxes at the end of next month

You will never truly own your property because of this.

So you rent? Not having a mortgage doesn’t mean you don’t have property taxes. Figured a high level exec like you knew this
