What is your longest running, most stubborn business boycott?

Saw this on Reddit and they had some golden responses. Reddit
quote:
AT&T, charged me $45 bucks for a collect call to home that was under 3 minutes in 1997. I never paid the bill and will never do business with them again.
quote:
Enterprise.
Someone renting their car crashed into me.
They knew I had insurance but repeatedly harassed me personally to not only pay damages, but also pay for their lost revenue. (And again, they crashed into me, not the other way around.)
I told them if they called me again I'd sue.
I still use other car rental companies that are part of the same parent company because it's impossible not to but I'll die before I rent from Enterprise again.
quote:
I refuse to use a plumbing company in the area because in 2001 they gave a free quote, came out to the job to preform the work, said it was going to be triple the price which I refused, then charged me a service fee.
I refused to pay the service fee because, by logic, a quote isn’t complete until accurate, and they turned me into collections.
Collections called. I told them I’d be happy to pay as soon as they produce the non existent contract with my signature attached. Never heard from them again.
frick you, Church Plumbing and Heating.
quote:
Walmart - it’s been 28 years.
They chase out small business, local businesses, frick over whole towns, and frick over their employees.
frick them.
quote:
Bank of America. They charged me 33 dollars a month for only having 5 dollars in my account for 6 months. I was 8. frick them
quote:
Direct Tv. They continued to charge me for suspended service while I was deployed. Went I returned home I called and tried to explain what the situation was and all they could say was “frick you pay.” I did not pay. I let that shite go to collections. And I still don’t care

Sears… I won

I swore I would never buy a Chevy because of their “Real people, not actors” commercials.
I am a man of my word.

Budweiser (not ABInbev) products. Vietnam vets make it clear when I was a pre-teen about those communist sympathizing frickheads that put Jane Fonda in ads before I was born. I've never purchased a Budweiser product.
And Toshiba, for selling US Navy secrets to the Russians in the 80s. Never bought a single VCR or hard drive from them.

AT&T
Charged me two months of service in 2016 after our house flooded then tried to charge me a $300 early termination fee for not transferring my service to our new address. Only backed off after I threatened to go to the news.
They can burn in hell forever

Cox Cable - it’s been 9 years
Verizon screwed over my brother’s credit 25 years ago - all of us in the family have been with AT&T since (well, suncom, then bellsouth then AT&T)
I stayed away from target for almost 4 years. And now it’s Sam’s & Costco.

Jack-In-The-Box
Almost 20 years ago I went through the drive-thru and ordered a shite ton of food because I had skipped breakfast and lunch and I was hungry af. The lady said over the speaker,”Aw naw…you gonna have to come inside for that baby.” I drove off and have never been there again. And I loved me some Jack in the Crack.

T-Mobile. I had a contract for no roaming charges and free long distance (back in the early days of cell phones). When my father was dying (and I was about 8 months pregnant), I traveled out of state to visit him on his deathbed and a week later to arrange his funeral so I was making a ton of phone calls.
A few weeks later, I received a huge bill. I called customer service because it was obviously a mistake but was told the contract was invalid because the store wasn't authorized to make that deal. I escalated and escalated (because I had a signed contract!), but was basically told to frick off by their useless customer service team. Truly the rudest group of people I have ever dealt with.
At this point, I am 9 months pregnant, grieving my dad, and mad as hell. I submitted a formal complaint to the FCC for fraud and later got a call from the office of a bigwig at T-Mobile reversing the charges. Too little, too late, but at least I didn't pay the charges.

Exxon. Applied for a credit card as a single E4 in the military and was rejected because I wasn’t making enough money.
Applied for a shell card and was approved right away. Never been late on a payment and always paid off the balance every month for 52 years.
Add Chase Bank to that but that is too long of a story. Hurricane related.

Bank of America.
I always paid my monthly bill in full. It was an account for automotive expenses, so gas, repairs and other automotive related crap.
Every month, for years, I paid my bill early, and in full. At some point, years in, they asked what my income was. I refused to answer. They were persistent. I was persistent.
One day, I went to fill up at a gas station and my card was declined. I went inside to the clerk, and said I was having a problem with the pay at the pump option. She tried to run it and it was again declined. I have never had a payment declined on a credit it card and I have a very, very high credit score.
It was extremely embarrassing to me. That day, I paid with another card. After I left the station, I called BOA. Chipper little girl at the 800 number on the back of their card said, "No problem Mr. Tony, just tell us what your income is, and I'll restore your card".
You can probably guess what happened next.

2008. We received an ugly outfit for our newborn from a fancy boutique, so we returned it and got store credit. We decided to use the credit on a new ice bucket and scoop. When I picked out the pewter scoop, the lady helping me says ‘You know that’s hand wash only’ in a VERY snarky tone. I wanted to throw it in her face. I haven’t been back since.

The nfl since the no call.
Louisiana politicians since April 30th, 1812. It’s probably my only boycott since childhood.

I don't know if Tommy's Fish House is still in business but, them.
They wanted This big old Esso sign that my dad had. He gave them a price, they didn't want to pay it. Then it disappeared.
Well one day I was driving by and saw a big old Esso sign hanging on their outside wall. One with the exact same rust scars as dad's.
He calls the cops, they said it came from a specific antique store. Well they didn't know we knew the owners of said antique store and they said the sign they bought didn't match the description of the one hanging.
But cops said if we didn't have any proof that it was dad's, nothing they could do.
Then a couple months later, playing around with Google Maps (New at the time) at my grandparents, I decide to look at the old homestead.
Lo and behold, there, in the street view picture, is the sign, with the telltale scar, on our property.
Me and my brother were just gonna go take it back but cooler heads prevailed and eventually dad got his sign back.
But still, frick Tommy's Fish House. Every time I ride past I still scream "Thieves!" Out the window at them
