He would be a good fit for Kiffin's offense.

Why?

He's not a great running threat and he's been an inconsistent passer. That's not to say he's a bad player or can't/won't improve. But I'm not sure he would be the No. 1 option

I don't think he should be option 1

Yes he is. He’s was a true dual threat qb in HS. Sunbelt Billy is just a bad OC.

Now that’s an understatement sir

agreed.

I just think there's more downside to potential upside (i.e. good coaching, system) with Lagway at this point. There's plenty of film to look at.

It looks like the plan right now, or at least the way it looks is that it's going to be Chambliss and someone else with the expectation that the someone else will sit for a season. Would be a good spot for Lagway, but I doubt he wants to sit

Well your first statement kinda makes him sound like a bad player.

Lagway, like Sellers, has shown some promise early but regressed. Coaching and offensive line play probably deserve some blame. But I wouldn't want to go into next season without someone who's more of a sure thing

Yes, he is a running threat. He had bad coaching that didn't utilize his skill set.

Take Matt Corrall, for instance. Under Matt Luke, he had 135 rushing yards and 1 TD with 1300 yards passing, 6 TDs, 3 INTs, and only 59 COMP%. in 10 starts in 2019.

Insert Kiffin, he rushes for almost 1200 yards over the next 2 seasons, 15 rushing TDs, 6700 passing yards, 59 passing TDs, and completed 70% of his passes.

Lagway has a shitload of talent. It's very apparent watching his film. He needs better coaching than he's received thus far

It's almost like coaching matters.

Some of you recognize bad coaching but seem incapable of wrapping your mind beyond the win/loss record and seeing how bad coaching affects the players as well as the win/loss record.

Anyone insinuating that Lagway doesn’t have superior physical tools and talent is off base. Decision making is another story. But that can improve, example JD5.

Kiffin runs his QB's like a heavy RB. Dart would just pound in there for 4/5. If he ends up at LSU I 100% believe Kiffin has seen what he needs to for him to be successful.
