Sounds like he is in time out for a reason.

I think its unclear if Lane's guy is going to come or not so Frank is unclear as well.

The fact that Frank would say that publicly speaks volumes about the stuff he’s been doing doing (allegedly)

Yeah this speaks volumes honestly.
Frank quite honestly isn’t a good coach. So will not really miss him there.
In today’s recruiting, his role is being diminished by the year with NIL taking its shape.
He could try to spike the punch bowl on us in NOLA but we are still the big dog in the area and one man can’t keep LSU from getting LA recruits.
Only thing in my mind that will suck is losing the interest from past players. It seems Frank did do a good job of that.

His job is to fulfill his duties as interim head coach. I suspect what happens after that is at best undefined.

lane is trying to upgrade all on the field spots and keep a few good ones.
frank can be replaced as RB coach and lane knows it. like our WR coach and Oline coach had to go.

I feel like the word "clarity" is doing a lot here

I think the best scenario would be for Frank to get another HC gig at a small school somewhere, even though I don't think that's happening. I just don't want to see him on staff at A&M, Texas or Auburn. He would be a major pain in the arse.

Well, If I was Frank, I would ask the Head Coach LK:
"Hey Coach, what are the plans for next year? Love to be a part of what you're building."
Rather than telling Jacques Doucet: "I've received no clarity for next year". Releasing this is a roundabout way to try and pressure CLK.
If Lane responds, or has already told him: "Ehhh, we will see Frank";
Then it's pretty "clear".

No it doesn't lmao... you guys are a bunch of Drama Queens
It's a damn interview, so im 100% sure he was asked about his future with being on Kiffin's staff... and simply gave his answer.
Everybody knows that its Smith's job if he wants it and Frank's on the field position is based on that.

It blows my mind he makes over a million dollars a year.

His choice of offensive line coach concerns me a bit

Do you honestly think it's that simple lol? I'm sure he was told and he didn't like it. Whether that's a position in front office with an off the field position or told to take a hike. He obviously doesn't like it so he's trying to use the media as a public mouthpiece. Cya.

Harlem berry gone when frank goes. But it serves the greatest goood of the progrum.

I like Berry but 1 guy is not worth it take LSU hostage. I'm sure there will be plenty of good RBs in the portal. They're a dime a dozen and Lane will have no problem making this great again in LSU's offense. I would love to see that Duke RB from Louisiana hit the portal. Another BK special somehow didn't heavily even recruit that guy and he looks like a stud as a freshman.

It’s sad to see, the arrogance and entitlement of interim coaches. He’s not the only connection to New Orleans. No single man is greater than the brand. Good Lord.

I will hate to see Frank go whenever that time comes. He’s an excellent recruiter/ relationship guy, but not a good college football coach. I would like to see him in his wheelhouse with recruiting but it seems he may want more. It will eventually be a tough breakup, especially if/ when he gets a spot with another SEC rival. No one is bigger than the program and it appears he could try to use his ties to N.O. to hold us hostage. Just my two cents.
