The last time we hired someone at ST just to have them on staff, we muffed multiple punts and had a horrible unit in 2022

Frank DOES NOT have to be on this coaching staff. Let kiffin do his thing, if we want change.. it’s time to be ok with some change.

Why do people keep saying this?
Why would you be willing to "sacrifice" special teams? What qualifications does he have? He isn't a good RB coach, and I don't think he would be a good ST coach either. If he doesn't want to accept an off the field position he can move on. You can't let him hold the program hostage.

Probably worth it to put Frank as special team just to keep him away from rival SEC teams. You can always bring in a non recruiting ST coach.

Who are we not bringing back? We do not have a spot on the field for a specific ST coach at the moment.

He can’t even handle the easiest position on the field to coach…but sure put more on his plate

Why? There’s no “recruiting” anymore. It’s just financial offers. Frank was better at recruiting when all of this was under the table and he was just a glorified bag man. Players just care about how much they’re going to get paid and damn near anyone can communicate that to them. We need coaches that can actually develop the players once we’ve paid for them and they’re on campus.

I’d like to have the guy that was a special teams coach when LSU won 2019 he was a former special teams coach ( Greg McMahon ) at New Orleans. That special teams had some swagger.

I have never been overly impressed by Franks coaching prowess. That said, the kids seemed to be more inspired to play for Frank than they did for BK.
I don't think LSU fears Frank as a coach, but they should fear him as a recruiter of kids out of Louisiana and in particular the New Orleans area. No one knows that terrain better. No one has better connections.
