What's the #1 turnoff for you that will lead to you not returning to an establishment?

Since today's theme seems to be bitching about restaurants.
Automatic gratuities then asking for an "additional tip" on top of that.
Or, doing what Texas Roadhouse does now and upselling by asking if you want your steak with gravy, then not mentioning there's a $2 upcharge.

Probably poor service.

Overpriced food not worth the scratch
I don't mind expensive food
But mediocre food with an expensive price tag? You can miss me with that.

I hate restaurants that do this shite. Or how whataburger will drop 96 ketchups in your bag without asking but a bbq sauce is a dollar. Like what the frick are we doing?

Bad health score.

If the service sucks, I would never return.

Should be no problem for a man of your wealth

Tow my car from the parking lot while I'm spending money at their business.
Charge for tap water.
Take more than 30 minutes for my food when it's not busy and I'm not ordering something that should take extra long.

When I pay over $20 for a meal at a restaurant and the food looks and tastes like it just came out of the freezer

Smell.
If a place smells like arse, I assume it's dirty and bad things are going down in the kitchen.

You seem to be under some moronic and completely wrong misapprehension that I have ever said I was wealthy

Pretty sure this just prints default on the receipt regardless whether they auto-gratted or not, so you must go nowhere
Although I do agree additional fees and auto-grats have gotten out of control. I get it for really large parties, but I feel like there should be some discretion used. A mother and father and grandmother with 3 children should not be auto-grat just because they are 6 people. Chances are, 1 person is paying the bill. This is not some complicated 12-separate-payment situation that requires auto-grat.

I low key enjoy this when it's 18% and I save money

When people start twerking around my brunch just throwing twerk wind in the air.
Square barstools. Uncomfortable to sit on and its an indicator that the food is overpriced.

Bad service. I don’t mind a pricey place occasionally, but if I feel slighted or disrespected at all it’ll be the last time I bother them.

Local restaurant tries to market themselves as an old diner. I gave it a try.
1. Flies everywhere. I mentioned it and they said an exterminator was coming the next day.
2. Food took forever to come out, and we were one of two occupied tables.
3. Definitely a frozen patty and fries. Nothing seemed fresh.
4. This restaurant has since promoted drag nights to make workers feel more included.
I will almost always give a restaurant a second go if it sucks the first time, but this was way too many strikes.

I don't go to busy bars often anymore, but there was not much in the service industry that would piss me off more than standing alertly waiting to get served, making polite eye contact with the bartender, then getting skipped over for someone who just showed up. There was going be a nice tip headed your way, but now you can kick rocks.

Wait staff that complain to the customer about how hard they’re working, being understaffed, the kitchen is slow, etc.
