Davis, Wilson, Hankton, even Sloan
, had Louisiana ties. How’s our offense? What players on offense, save green, are sure fire nfl/all sec caliber?

Raymond is different, his presence has improved the D.

It’s not that I don’t like these guys or thankful for what they did. At the end of the day, they got their opportunity and failed.

Ole Miss had a better oline, qb, wr’s, rbs, than us. Maybe those guys are better at talent evaluation and development.

The fact is we cannot let any coach hold LSU hostage. I hope the rumors of Wilson are not true, in fact I’m highly skeptical of them. It doesn’t sound like him at all.

They aren’t true, the recruits were led to believe Frank would remain on staff and now that is uncertain. Frank isn’t sabotaging anything the recruits just feel like they might have been misled. Hopefully we are able to get this all sorted out.

And Kelly got fired because he didn’t give a shite about his job.

This part can be true too. However, he left it to these guys and they failed him. Had they been studs at what they do, Kelly still has a job and praised for hiring great assistants. LSU would be winning.

Much the same as Blake Baker who also has Louisiana ties.

I think Kelly being a fat, lazy, SOB and woody rewarding mediocrity got BK fired.

I don't think we should avoid Louisiana ties. I think we should be smart with how we hire them

Love Frank for his loyalty and recruiting prowess in NO.. but his on field coaching has a lot to be desired.. his rb rotation was always perplexing.. and imo when he was in charge I saw indecisiveness hence the last play of the game out of a to putting Michael under center. And as expected he was uncomfortable and the play never had a chance. so yes I'll take Kevin Smith who's been w Lane for 8 years. Played in the NFL... Those two things alone tell me all I need to know

I dont think it would be detriment to at least keep Frank and Corey. You point them at the recruits you want and say go get em.

Letting all the coaches with Louisiana ties go also gave him the 2023 defense and probably cost him a championship. You need 1 or 2. But I don't believe that it has to be Frank

This is what i think is going on. I just can't believe a coach would still be on staff if it was learned that he's using the recruiting class as leverage to keep his job.

Complacency and a detached attitude with his staff and players got Kelly fired. He thought if Miles and Ed can win a NC, all he had to do was come in and kick his feet up and the NC would come to him.

There are a myriad of reasons why Kelly got fired.

Of all those reason, the fact that some LSU coaches had Louisiana ties is near the bottom of the list, IF it's on the list at all.

Why is that uncertain? I am pretty sure he can stay on staff in some capacity, but he supposedly only wants it in a way that he hurts the team. He sucks completely as an actual coach and history proves it. Nearly every running back under his guidance either regresses or fails to develop. It’s not something new either. Look at it through his entire career.

Guy overvalues himself and if he is the one saying on field coaching or nothing, players need to shut it, especially if he is not even their position coach.

Kelly laziness/complacency got him fired... stop the BS.

His initial defensive staff didnt have any ties to Louisiana... so whats your excuse for him fielding that 2023 defense?
