Has any major A-lister enjoyed a decade of sustained success quite like Tom Hanks?

From 1992-2002, Tom Hanks was practically on top of the Hollywood pyramid as far as critical and commercial acclaim is concerned. In those 10 years he starred in the following films:

(Box office rankings are for domestic, calendar-year grosses)

A League of Their Own (#10 at the box office)
Sleepless in Seattle (#5 at the box office)
Philadelphia (#12 at the box office; Academy Award Winner - Best Actor)
Forrest Gump (#1 at the box office; Academy Award Winner - Best Actor)
Apollo 13 (#3 at the box office)
Toy Story (#1 at the box office)
That Thing You Do! (#60 at the box office; directorial debut)
Saving Private Ryan (#1 at the box office; Academy Award Nominee - Best Actor)
You've Got Mail (#14 at the box office)
Toy Story 2 (#3 at the box office)
The Green Mile (#12 at the box office; Academy Award Nominee - Best Actor)
Cast Away (#2 at the box office; Academy Award Nominee - Best Actor)
Road to Perdition (#24 at the box office)
Catch Me If You Can (#11 at the box office)

We’ve done this thread before and there are actually quite a few people that have really great decade runs. I’ll see if I can find it.

Schwarznegger, Tom Cruise, and Harrison Ford from about the mid 80s to the mid or even late 90s all had tons of hits.

Ok, wet blanket.

Tom Hanks had a run and Cast Away is one of my personal favorites so much so that I decided to visit that intersection. We arrived a little early that morning and sun hadn't risen yet but we waited for the sunrise for some awesome pics.

Just popping by to say Colin Hanks is 48.. holy crap.
Had no idea he was 25 when he filmed Orange County, portraying a high schooler

Hanks run was pretty impressive. He hit almost every genre. Rom/Com, Comedy, Military/War, Animation, Drama, Musical. He missed on Horror, Sci-Fi, Comic Book/Superhero.

The answer is easily Leonardo DiCaprio.

Gangs of New York
Catch Me If You Can
The Aviator
The Departed
Blood Diamond
Body of Lies
Revolutionary Road
Shutter Island
Inception
J. Edgar
Django Unchained
The Great Gatsby
The Wolf of Wall Street
The Revenant
Once Upon A Time In Hollywood

This is an insane 13 year stretch.

Not to mention his earlier stuff like The Basketball Diaries, Quick and the Dead, Titanic, etc.

Factor in all the models he was banging, it's a no brainer it's the best run ever.
