How would that help LSU at all? It would make kiffin look bad for being a distraction.

I don't see how the results of the Egg Bowl should matter one way or the other to LSU.
He comes to LSU on Saturday regardless of the outcome.

Ole Miss and Georgia are playing in the SECCG on December 6th and winner gets the #2 Overall Seed. And I still don't think Lane announces he's staying in Oxford this Saturday.
For the record, I do not expect all those things to happen but one or even two of them happening wouldn't surprise me one bit.

Yes absolutely. Just don’t want him at OM anymore has given them some kinda false hope that they are actually relevant. Want him gone from there more than I want him here but I still want him on our sideline pretty bad!

This game is kind of like Arkansas for LSU or Auburn for Alabama. You know they should win easy most of the time but it doesn’t go that way a lot of the time.

If state wins then I hope those Landry/kiffin conversations included how they were going to evac him out of Starkville before the rebel fans get ahold of him. They are not in a good place.
