One of my all time favorite games as a kid. We all walked in with bags of oranges and no one cared.

That was a couple of years before I was regularly attending games, but I remember listening to that one on the radio at the deer camp. Fond memories of a lot of relatives that have since passed on!

There! Aftergame parties were insane that night. We couldn’t get our dead weight buddy out of the car when we got back to our Tigerland apt. So we left him.

I was a student at LSU then, although I graduated from SLU, and was in attendance that night. Simply the best game and outcome, with an ominous setting to boot.

I was there pelting people that were climbing the goalposts with oranges. My greatest night in Tiger Stadium as a student - my last semester before graduating as we secured an Orange Bowl in my hometown of Miami.

…..followed by my worst moment a week later when we lost to the Greenies. Tuck Fulane.

I was there and rushed the field afterwards. Ended up standing on the crossbar of the goal post as everyone tried to tear it down. Wish I had the video. What a game! Oranges raining on the field.

The Night it Rained Oranges.

I was attending LSU at the time.

I consider that game the high point of my time in the student section.

The low point was the loss to Tulane in the slop but we don’t have to bring that up.

The whole pre-game skit was pure awesomeness.

I freely admit, I believed that Seminole was FSU's mascot . . . until the altercation.

one of the best group of DL's in LSU history ... Leonard Marshall, Roland Barbay, Ramsey Dardar, Karl Wilson, Greg Bowser, Bill Elko. Mikie Mahtook's dad (RIP) was also on that team
