Up until the last couple days, I thought he stays. With Florida, LSU, maybe Texas, Titans, Dolphins, etc, I think he’s gone. The question is whether he’s gone before or after the playoffs.

At this point, no. If he was intending to stay, he would've signed the extension and announced he's not leaving. Considering you have two heavyweights in Florida and LSU pursuing him and he's gone past the "just listening" phase, pretty low chance he's in Oxford next year. Hell, he may be out of Oxford before the calendar turns to 2026.

A week ago? Yes a distinct possibility.

Today? No.

Personally yes. I think he either stays or goes pro. Even though the thought of him leaving old piss is awesome

That extension is on his desk. He can sign whenever he wants. He has not done so.

I think he may stay if Ole Miss puts their best offer on the table and stays patient. Let him flirt with the others all he wants.

If they are putting an ultimatum in front of him, like many believe, he will go elsewhere.

You could also say he's floating interest in other jobs to get Ole Miss to up the offer. I don't believe him for a second when he says the money isn't important

I think it’s the best fit for him. That said, his ego just will not allow it.

All this talk about how he’s matured etc. is bullshite, he’s an immature egotistical fool and the bright lights and shiny things are too much for his materialistic self to pass up on.

He’s staying. Just a big publicity stunt being paid for by other people’s money.

If he does its all about the almighty $$dollar$$. OM will give him the keys to the whole program to stay, plus a raise. I think he stays.

I wouldn’t say it’s likely but I do think there’s a chance. One off the wall possibility of why he hasn’t signed his extension is that he is going to do it the week before the playoffs to provide some juice and hype going into the postseason.

The only thing keeping him there this long is the playoff chances.

well, it's called negotiating

its a sexton client, so there's really no telling how it ends up.

He'll sign somewhere for a ton of cash and then the two losing schools will say they're happy they didn't do that deal

The deadline of OleMiss's extension offer is 23:59PM, 11/16/2025.
Unless OleMiss submit another offer, he is gone.
