He’s done about the same (or arguably worse) at USC than BK did at LSU

Riley@USC: 32-16
BK@LSU: 34-14
**and Riley has played against a much easier schedule and two of those seasons in the Pac12

I guess it’d be an okay hire…. I wouldn’t melt, but I also wouldn’t be thrilled.

Not really a fan of hiring two coaches in a row where his current fans are going to be sincerely thanking us for taking him off their hands.

He can't come to LSU on a bridge that he burned down.

if Verge hires him, than that bridge wasn't really burned down.

Inherited a program in great shape at Oklahoma and treaded water with it, then let the D slide.

Has let USC decline.

8-5
4-1 Season shortened by COVID
4-7
11-3 Riley’s first year
8-5 Little worse
7-6 Little worse
6-2 Current season and I believe they have 2 losses coming

So if we want one good season he’s the guy.

Some coaches do not want the pressure that a job at LSU brings and playing in the SEC. Doesn’t mean they’re not a good coach but just have other goals
