If we are going to go that route and not swing for the fences I would rather go for Kelvin Sheppard, Brady or a top Programs successful OC or DC.

He’s been at Tulane 2 years. What’s his record? Explain why we would be “fools” not to hire this guy.

Probably be the best we can get since apparently no one in leadership positions in the state or at LSU knows how to STFU.

To be honest I don't think about the Saban era at all. He built the program after taking over from Dinardo, but really only had one season that would have been acceptable to today's fans.

Politically it is unlikely. LSU taking an in state coach from a prominent school wouldn't be something even Landry would allow

Credit to him not tanking Tulane, but I don’t know if he can build. He took over a program in pretty good shape after Fritz.

Ok, tell your team to hire him and we will go get him once he’s more proved. Thanks.

Tulane wasn’t exactly in dire straits when Jon Sumrall go here. Coming off a top 10 finish and Cotton Bowl win. 11-1 regular season after that.

What has he done at Tulane to make you guys anoint him as this can’t miss hire?

you mean the coach of a team that fell flat against UTSA by giving up 31 points in the 1st half with it all on the line? that guy?
