Anyone have any good suggestions for an anniversary dinner in the New Orleans area? Something upscale. We have eaten at a lot of places in the area and the others I've checked like GWs and N7 are already booked a couple weeks out. Thanks

Lots of great suggestions on here.
When we have something to celebrate we usually think of
1. Galatoire’s
2. Commander’s Palace.

Anyone been to Avo lately? We went years ago and I am thinking of trying it again. Thinking of starting at Avegno lounge then going to Avo for dinner. Any thoughts?

Wife and I are trying San Lorenzo this weekend for our anniversary dinner. Doesn’t get much talk/hype, but menu looks good.
We did The Kingsway earlier this month and it was very very good. Most affordable tasting menu restaurant in the city as far as I know.

Best pasta I’ve had in the city

Avo and San Lorenzo are both great
I probably wouldn't do anniversary dinner there and opt for something more like Clancy's if you want an occasion
On just pure food though, can't go wrong with Avo or San Lorenzo

Irene’s would be on my short list

Clancy’s for sure. In my opinion the number one restaurant in New Orleans. Brigten’s second.
