I'm back and forth on Bobby every 5 minutes after this weekend. I love Bobby.

I'd love James Franklin but he's an east coast guy. Arkansas is beautiful but I wonder if he would be homesick from day one?

Colin Klein makes so much sense, it means we won't even consider it. Because we are stupid.

Jon Sumrall - yes!
Rhett Lashley - I'm fine with it, just leave Gus out of it
Blake Baker - let's do it!

I haven't watched A&M a ton, but when a guy has a QB who regularly extends drives with his legs outside of structured play calls it kind of throws up a red flag for me. Maybe not red, but at least yellow.

Is his offense being bailed out by a dual threat? Is he designing plays in a way that the QB has a read, and if its not there he has put space on the field by separating out the pass catchers for the QB to scramble to (as in, its a designed pass/run option that looks like its the QB just taking off)? Its just something you need to watch some film on and see.

I keep saying Arkansas needs a young "up and comer" that can light a fire under the fan base, raise money for NIL (get WM and Tyson on board) and be innovative on offense simply because Arkansas is not going to get the talent like Bama, LSU or UGA does consistently. Now...they can get talent level comparable to Ole Miss and Vandy and look at what they are doing with the right coach. Bobby isn't it I am afraid.

I don't know how Bobby's program management skills are, and that is a critical piece to the job. But I know if I were to put Bobby as AUs HC with this DC/talent, we are undefeated. He can scheme on O.

By all means go for it

His defense’s kryptonite happens to be the type of qb that accounts for half your schedule in this era but yeah, go get him !

How about a hungry and rejuvenated Coach O after his four-year sabbatical. He can steal top recruits out of Louisiana and use that Walmart money to hire top-notch assistants like Aranda. CEOrgeron is back, baby.

If they made him interim and his offense appears to be playing well, I’d be pretty surprised if it’s not Bobby. It’ll probably be a pretty friendly deal and they can allocate more to NIL, not a bad route for them

I think Arkansas is in a good place with this search. Petrino is obviously a good fit for them and would enable them to find a head coach in waiting type deal once he retires in a couple years

If I’m them I’m trying hard to get Franklin. Get a coach that can make you a consistently solid team. Likeable. Decent recruiter. SEC experience.

This is the right answer and either would be a good hire at this time for Arkansas.

Arkansas got better overnight when Petrino took over, but if they can't get past baggage, Lashlee is the next call.

O is more of a beach guy not a mountains guy

Klein is a Bill Snyder protege. Dual threat would be the rule, every year.

Midline option, play pass off it, QB always has legs, the way football is supposed to be played.

Arkansas needs to retain Bobby and go out and spend a ton on a very good DC and shore up the defense. Hit the portal for defensive players. Bobby's offense + a competent DC = giving teams in the SEC fits. Those other guys have 0 experience as HC in the SEC, while Bobby has already proven himself before. Bobby is better than a lot of these unproven names I'm seeing thrown around. The Auburn game shouldn't change things. You can’t really blame Bobby for the current state of things that Pittman left him with. He's gonna have to clean up the mess and get his own guys in there.
