YouTube is becoming almost unwatchable

Has anyone else been noticing way more frequent ads? It seems like they’re popping up every 3-4 minutes and they’re back to back 30 second ads that you can’t skip. Seems like this started a week or two ago.

If you use the right browser or adblocker you wont see any ads ever.

You tube premium is worth every penny. No ads and you can lock your screen and put it in your pocket and still listen

Its really, frustruating.

tried watching a concert the other night but it was so full of ads i just eventually turned it off. basically 1 ad per song.

I bit the bullet last year and got it. You are correct. I watch YouTube as much as I watch regular tv.
However, YouTube shorts are a full pain in the arse. I wish there was a way to disable that showing up

Was watching the old delta cotton farmer video last night and in a 5 min video I got the same ad pop up three times telling me if I’m having to wipe my arse over a couple times when I take a shite, that something is wrong.
My 4yo loved it because poop and farts are always funny apparently

you can download add ons that can block YT shorts
I did for my daughters computer because I don't want her watching shorts

YouTube Red/Premium is a must.

Google is a wreck of a company right now. The google search results are crap and youtube is garbage. I can't think of a product they have that would win out if they had real competition. They are simply too big to fail and know it.
