They (LSU) gonna have to run the ball to beat us. You think, word gets around bout our offense

I think LSU is going run down their throats if they do that. For all his faults, Kelly is usually pretty quick to remedy glaring problems in the program.

You’re about the tenth guy I’ve come across who thinks this has something to do with the running game. It doesn’t. They are not going to drop eight guys back before the snap.

Maybe we can run a few shovel passes then. Technically not running the ball, still passing, but with the same effect.

Yes but if we are able to establish a run then when we have a play action it can hold the linebackers and safeties from getting into their drop leaving open space. There are multiple ways to skin a cat, only Saturday will tell us how Sloan and Co. have chosen to combat that style of defense.

A very good run game will do that, but that’s not LSU’s schtick, which is the passing game opening up the running game.
