Every story has Lacy driving recklessly.
And in this video there is a black man blaming the charger.

2 sides to everything. Everyone coming out yesterday proclaiming his innocence should have waited.

From what I gathered, Lacy was speeding in and out of traffic on a two lane road going south. Him doing this made a driver (gold truck) in the northbound lane slam on his brakes. The person behind the gold truck swerving into the southbound lane to avoid running into the back of the truck and that’s how the collision happened. Am I off base?

So LSP is not going to acknowledge their officer clearly trying to force a statement on likely the most important witness, who then refused the forced statement.
They also won’t acknowledge the fact an officer is magically and conveniently missing his body cam footage during significant parts of the incident.
Also, I have yet to see anyone claim Lacy didn’t illegally pass multiple vehicles.
They also are trying to act like he slammed his brakes and skid or something she. Their own video shows he braked hard, sure, but not enough to even skid.
LSP is a corrupt organization and instead of holding the officer(s) responsible for their actions that were clearly inappropriate, are going to continue to cover for them.
No one, and I mean no one, should trust the LSP after their recent history.

Other than the fact video of the driver of that truck claiming he didn’t slams his brakes as described, sure.
Their star witness and statement is a refused statement by the witness.

He was clearly speeding, but I cannot objectively come to a conclusion from that video that implicates Kyren in the slightest way for the accident. Obviously, he doesn't impact anyone directly, but even a narrative that tries to say that his driving actions somehow caused someone to react to him, thereby losing control, is utterly unsupported by that video. Everything is in front of him, so who on earth could conclude that Lacy had anything to do with the cause of this accident?
What am I even supposed to see, from the LSP's perspective here? Their defense is incoherent. This video does nothing but prove beyond any doubt, that I can see, that Lacy wasn't involved. He was speeding, but had no impact on what happened.

To the people downvoting me, tell me what you see? What do you see there? Why would someone crash because of someone well behind them?
I'm not some "defund the police" sky screamer. I'm just a guy watching a video that doesn't come close to support the claims by the police.
So, instead of drive-by downvotes, explain yourselves.

That witness in the body cam footage that Lacy's own lawyer posted said that the charger was coming "head on" at him if you re-watch the police officer getting that witness statement from the black guy in the gold truck
LINK
Watch 4:36 into this video and tell me that the main witness didn't have to evade Kyren.

uhhhhh no. So him travelling into oncoming traffic didn't affect the chain of events?
Call a spade a spade. He was being a selfish prick. If this weren't an LSU football player, you guys would be burning this dude at the stake. Imagine being the guy who drives past an accident you had a hand in

The only reasonable explanation for the vehicle to collide with another vehicle in the opposite lane is that they were trying to avoid Lacy’s car.
I get that it’s circumstantial because there’s isn’t a video of the actual wreck but I don’t think it’s crazy to assume it was Lacy’s fault.
These are always the toughest cases when their is no “smoking gun” and it’’s circumstantial.

Sorry he didn’t slam on his brakes, he swerved right to avoid a collision and that’s when the car behind him saw Lacy’s car coming at them in their lane and swerved left. Is that correct?

From what I gathered, the gold truck did not slam on its brakes and the 2nd car was too close to him so she swerved into oncoming lanes. The gold truck could have been weary of the charger, but the 2nd car couldn't have seen the charger due to the truck. it really seems like the lady wasn't paying attention and didn't want to go to jail.
Also, people were saying it was a hit and run by Lacy. Which is dishonest. He wasn't involved physically.

I’ve been telling y’all.

These trials in the court of public opinion are so exhausting.
I know it’s impossible, but everyone needs to wait for all the facts to come out.

He wasn’t behind them right? They were going northbound and Lacy was coming at them head on going southbound.

This video doesn't prove that the gold truck swerved off the road to avoid the green charger.
What we would need to conclusively see if whether or not the gold truck braked, how hard they braked, and if they served to avoid the charger.
Based on the gold trucks statement, they were cruising at a slow speed, did not brake hard or swerve to avoid the charger.

Yet clearly also states it was the woman behind him’s fault for the crash and that he didn’t slam his brakes as she made up.
So you are doing whatever part of the statement fits the corrupt cops narrative, right?
Lacy did something wrong illegally passing. No one said it was okay, but even from everything shown, he is not the most responsible for the accident.
