ESPN and Disney are clearly scared he might express political opinions they don't believe in or agree with.

Pussies.

Isn't there a huge personality on ESPN that stated publicly he is interested in running for President?

Inb4: That's (D)ifferent!!

I’m conflicted: I don’t think Finebaum should be cancelled for merely expressing interest in running for political office. On the other hand, I hate his show and I believe most of his takes are simply designed to line up callers for his show.

If true he has a better case for a lawsuit than kimmel

Getting fired because you “might” run for office.

I’m sure all the celebrities will come out and cry “censorship” for Finebaum like they did Kimmel lol.

I'm sure Clay Travis isn't spinning this to drive attention to his website/podcast

I would wait for a little more info to come out before assuming what Travis says is true. Finebaum is a lynchpin to ESPN's SEC coverage

Stephen A Smith, espn's highest paid employee as far as I am aware, has openly talked about running for President as a Democrat for years now, and regularly appears on multiple political shows on multiple channels

Wasn't he on Matt Barrie's show yesterday?

Bill Hofheimer, VP of ESPN, put out a tweet at 10:10 AM:

Doesn't seem true at all. That's an absurd reason to cancel him.

He actually is not at all. He is pretty moderate by today's Dem standards

I guess we will find out at 2:00.

If The Finebaum Show airs on SEC Network, as scheduled, he's not canceled.

Clay Travis will spin it, either way.

If Finebaum is not on, Travis will be proven correct. If Finebaum is on, Travis will just claim his tweet caused ESPN to reverse course.

It's a win-win for Travis and his grifting.
