It’s a long season folks. Everything we wanna play for is still in front of us. Lock in, either get nuss healthy or play MVB, figure out a semblance of a run game, defense keep being the ballers they are and let’s get to the playoffs

I think we all just want to see a better gameplan and qb play. I don’t think Kelly is just going to let this burn though. If Nuss is bad this weekend, I think that’s it

Cool, but you win that game you can afford more losses.

It was a winnable game.

A lot of people aren't used to the parity that NIL has brought. You aren't going to have undefeated juggernauts with 5 star recruits playing backup because your first string is that good. Especially with an expanded playoff, a loss or two doesn't mean your season is done anymore. The offense needs to improve but everyone needs to chill.

I think you are right, though that is not a popular opinion.

In 2018 at Notre Dame, he pulled Brandon Wimbush, who had a lot of hype coming into the season, and replaced him with Ian Book while they were still undefeated. The result was them going to the 4 team playoff. So he has done it.

It's still possible BK still thinks Nuss is the best shot to win.

Had VanBuren played, OM would have had zero answer for how to stop the QB run. That’s my gripe. We just just took the L without even trying.

Nothing unusual about that.

When this offense doesn’t play it has a good chance of moving up the polls. Definitely better offense in a bye week

I don’t give a damn what our ranking is when all I need is my eyes to tell me where we REALLY rank against teams in the top 10

You are just assuming Van Buren would have replicated the good plays Nussmier had and tacked on positive running plays on top of that. He may have had more negative plays and interceptions.

Friendly reminder that LSU was 7-0 (would've been 8-0 had the McNeese game not been cancelled) and #2 in the nation in 2015. A few weeks later Miles was basically fired, but somehow kept his job a few games into 2016.

The rankings mean nothing when there are inherent flaws in the team.

Do you think that this board is the team or something?

The problem is that we don't have 7 more bye weeks.

We will never know. That’s the problem.
We didn’t even try.

No man. We didn’t lose to a Bama or Georgia. It was against an OleMiss team that didn’t look good. We just looked worse.
You can lose a game and think Ah we are working on something here I like where we are going.
You can also lose a game and think What the F are our coaches even thinking.

The OM loss was the second. But hopefully we get it turned around. But unfortunately I think people are right to be concerned.

2021 our running game sucked and Jack Mauricio, who wasn’t even a football coach, said what the team needed to do to improve and luckily Orgeron listened and we ran for 297 yds against FL. It can be fixed. Will see what Kelly has done over 2 weeks.

Just exactly who on the Staff is supposed to figure it out?

OC Joe "In over his Head" Sloan?
OL Coach Brad "Sylvester" Davis?
TE Coach and Run Game Coordinator Alex "Florida State fired Me" Atkins?

None of them to this point, have displayed that they can "Figure it Out." You're realistically "Urinating in the Wind" with these 3 in regards to the Running Game. So, who fixes it?

The Defense is the only hope for the CFP. If the Offense can somehow manage to score just 24 points, WE should be in every remaining game. All those games may be 24-20 or 27-24 games a la Ole Miss, but a win is a win is a win from here on out. Defense can't stay on the field all day though or they'll tire out and have a critical breakdown.

That horrible Ole Miss team is #4 in the country according to the so called polls.

Bottom line is that loss means exactly nothing. What matters is what happens for the rest of the season. Two losses still gets you into the playoffs.

I'm ok with 11. This offense will keep us out of the top 10
