If you had to decide on the offensive strategy for this game?

Would you come out and traditionally attempt to establish the run, or go pass-heavy, air it out downfield, put them on their heels and hopefully open up the running lanes later?

Intermediate passes, Creativity like Clemson game with run game, keep OM defense on field. Ball control and points.

a frickload of play action, screens, and motion to get LBs on their heels guessing where to be

Convert on 3rd down, score more than 28. However, I think this is going to be won on defense. I think there will be opportunities for turnovers. Lane will be taking chances

Find where Sage Ryan is on the field and target whomever he's covering.

Well it would be awesome if we could rely on a power running game, that would give us better odds at sustaining longer drives and keeping our D fresh.
Since that’s not really our strong suit I would say get creative with screens, outside runs, reverses and quick passes. Hope to lull them to sleep and play closer to the LOS and then let Anderson or Brown burn them deep and take a few shots.
If we can’t move the ball consistently on 1st and 2nd down and are asking Nuss to bail us out on 3rd all night we will lose.

Idk I’m counting on the coaches that get paid millions of dollars to figure that part out

4 wides every play. Sage will guarantee a Tiger victory.

Tulane just ran for 178 yards on them so….

Run the ball.
Yeah, let's come out running the ball.
Throw it every fricking down to every WR, TE and RB on the team.
Maybe run it in I-Form with Pyburn at Fullback when you get down to the 3 yard line or closer.........

Start safe with bubble/tunnel screens; then target the intermediate middle. (Spread them wide, then find the gaps); counter heavy running game with more snaps for Donovan Green as the pull man.
"Use the short passing game as an extension of the run game."
Lots of RPO reading Suntarine Perkins to take him out of the game.
What I don't do is run inside zone on short yardage situations vs a stacked box.

Work the intermediate middle with Anderson and Zavion. Once they walk the safeties down take deep shots. Use short pass as the run game and get playmakers on the edges. Quick slants. More toss plays in the run to get to the edge since we don't get a push.

The strategy always is to score more points than the opponent. Tactics? Now that’s a different question. lol

Tempo, pass the ball and test their DBs early to setup the run late. Get the offense in a rhythm and make them think.

I suspect the last play of the Florida game was not a fluke.
Pyburn deserves the credit he got the big block to launch him but if he weren’t there Sharp would have to get at least 5 yards out of it.
Run a spread package to draw a nickel or dime then move everyone in tight I formation with Sharp as FB and run everything to the sidelines.
When they sub to go bigger spread everyone out again or play action.

I agree. LSU needs to do what they're built for and what they're good at. That's throwing the damn ball.
I'm going to assume that LSU's best offensive player is the guy who is in the Heisman running. Put the ball in his hands and let him work.
Oh by the way, he's got a **** ton of skill guys to throw it to and apparently the offensive line is better at pass blocking than run blocking.
At what point does LSU recognize that they're a cheetah and not a rhinoceros.

Pass the ball on first down and then run according to yardage after that the rest of the of the series

We done one and only one thing well….. short quick passes behind at or just beyond the LOS. I SAY DO THAT……
