I’m not particularly old I’m only in my early 30s but I’ve never felt like this over any event that I can recall in my life. And judging by talking to friends and seeing the reaction from others I’m far from the only one

I really think this could be the spark needed to bring back real Christian values to America. While others are choosing to show how truly evil humans can be right now I really think they’re about to be be hit with unwavering unashamed faith that will change the world forever

By the way it’s an incredibly peaceful way to start the day by reading the Bible over a cup of coffee everyone should try it

I read Luke, way shorter than you would have guessed. The Bible is large and intimidating but most individual books are very brief and easy to do in one or two decent sitting.

Typically on a news day like Wednesday, I’d probably go home & have a drink or two. But I had the same thought on my way home. I said I think the best way to honor Charlie is to pick up a Bible and read it instead.

You aren’t the only one, if you ever doubt why God lets bad things happen to good people, think back on this moment

I start the day by kissing my medal of St. Mary and saying, "Pray for me O holy mother of God."

Took me way too long to figure this out. Glad you found it sooner. Best way to start the day.

Amen. My wife and I haven’t been to church since we had a baby earlier this year…

That changes Sunday.

I have read it entirely twice in my life. It is the most wonderful thing I have ever done for myself as a human being. Religion is not ever mentioned in the Holy Bible.

For history buffs, it is certainly the finest history book ever compiled and written.

Start in the Gospel of John. Pray before you read for clarification and understanding an open heart. Then go to Romans and Acts. Read a chapter a day and study it, understand it. Don’t read the Bible like a story book the first time.

Make sure to keep reading... you'll come to crave it, but don't let life get so busy you put it down. Even if it's only a Proverbs chapter, read something, daily.

I like to read the Bible on my Kindle before I go to sleep when it’s quiet and peaceful. It’s easier to really concentrate on the passages.

Amen. I pray it happens. I’m sure of course you mean this part:

“Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.”
Ephesians 4:32

A lot of my fellow Christians on this board don’t seem interested in these parts of the Bible lately.

This is an incredible example of how God uses tribulation to the furtherance of his kingdom. It’s real and it’s been energized 10,000 %
