Does anyone know what the story is. I’ve seen the charges but who did he kidnap and why? It just seems strange that’s not a common crime committed by ordinary citizens.

Everyone hates Lane until he’s their coach. They dogged him like everyone else. They’re just tired of being a whipping boy in the sec. It changes your perspective at least until or unless he does something stupid.

Old school maybe but I think bringing in talented guys retaining your roster, developing and having an older team is the way that teams in Alabamas NIL range will sustain success. Similar to Indiana because I can promise you they didn’t have near the talent that Alabama did and they beat us like a rented mule along with everyone else.

Disagree in Torres. He had a huge hit in the SR and it was huge. Only up one and giving St John hope would have been bad. He had other at bats he won games as well. I thought as the season went on he played third very well and made some outstanding plays. Hitting and the starting pitching in the WS was really the story. Hines really wasn’t much better at the plate in a consistent basis IMo. He was feast or famine plus hitting in the 4 hole adds a different pressure than batting a true freshman in the 6 hole.

Hitting struggled all year but I’ll say this to me it was mostly personel. When I looked at MSST and GA players that was some big arse dudes. This was a smaller team and problem was they struggled to play small ball. Little things like not laying bunts down and the only player that seemed to be a reliable base stealer was LeBron. I think hitting woes can be addressed with better talent.

Not the result we wanted. Would like them to have been more competitive but I truly believe we have the right coach in place and this is a foundation type season. I think they’re only going to get better from here.

Fellas. First trip to Omaha in 27 years and we have fans melting down. Bad day. Oklahoma was just better. Enjoy the success because we have been in the offseason this time of year for 27 years.
I don’t know what day the game is scheduled but it should be illegal to play and football game in September before 6pm south of the mason dixon line.
I do not hate on Sark but with money Texas throws at NiL he has to be getting warm if Texas either fails to make playoffs or is out first round.
I have no delusions that Bama will even make it out of that bracket but if I was man with money to throw away plus 1200 on Bama would be appealing.

Sorsby. Lane is not a likable person just because of his antics and flippant attitude but Sorsby broke a rule that got a Bama coach fired as he should have been and everyone was good with it. Pete rose one of the best players in baseball history can’t get into HOF but this punk is kept eligible because of a the hardship it creates for him. It’s bullshite.

After seeing all new teams in the CWS I now better understand other schools not liking the same 4 teams every year in the playoffs. Not saying I like the direction that college sports is heading but from a fan perspective I understand the hand wringing better

I’m ready for sec and big ten to break away with player contracts that lock them in for three to four years with equitable pay for players that all universities can afford. Leave the other sport part of the ncaa. I want fair transfer rules as well. If they’re going to be NFL then let it be like the NFL as much as possible.
