Ok so using this I assume there would be some type of technology that could determine if the ball hit the ground or was a catch. The problem of course is if the receiver has control of the ball and it touches the ground it is stilll a catch. I don’t think AI can be programmed to pick up all of the nuances to make the correct call better than the system currently in place. Maybe it would be good for first down reviews and TD reviews but outside of that how would it be beneficial in replacing referees?

He is not doing a bad job. Two things. One this is a totally new era of CFB and even Sabans process had started to grow stale because kids are getting paid now they don’t care. Two he is not a bad coach, Bama has simply regressed to the mean of good college football programs. Unless you can afford to buy a great roster and then continue to pay those same players to stay most teams like Alabama, LSU and Georgia are going to hit gold a year or two and then regress. That’s CFB now. All that can be asked of these coaches are playoff appearances and a run every few years. I don’t want Alabama making that mistake again like they did post Stallings.

That poor kid. He wasn’t even rubbing it in. In no way was that unsportsmanlike but you’re correct that is the rule. Really hate that for that kid, his family. Anyone who does not think his life in that community will be hell because people are idiots.

For the teams that are in bowl games do yall have a lot of hold outs or are most of your players playing?
I’m shocked Texas hasn’t won a title in baseball the last 20 yrs.
Josh Pate said that if DeBoer left for Michigan Dillingham would take the Bama job and that he really wanted it. Point being he wants a big time program job and ASU isn’t it.

It will go to tie breakers like we used to seat teams this year. Having 4/5 teams in the playoff is more money than one sec cg featuring two teams.
