This is what it would be like to play high school football against a future first ballot NFL HOFer. Pretty cool.

Why were they letting him compete against middle schoolers?

He looks like a lineman wearing an ineligible number.

I can hear coach screaming at me "Take His Legs Out".

I was 6' 163 lbs in High School and got my arse ran over by way less than D Henry

Saban said when DH arrived he was the worst back in pass protection that he had seen at Bama

Later on Derrick went on the same podcast and said something like “man we didn’t throw the ball. My coach basically said run left or run right”

I like how they kept circling him as if it wasn't immediately obvious who the biggest fastest dude on the field was.

He's definitely is the greatest HS RB of all time. Now, the amount of carries he has is damn near criminal. You could equate it to a baseball coach making a pitcher throw thousands of pitches.

He's 18th all time in rushing in the passing era of the NFL. When he gets over the 13,000 yard mark I'd have him in the top 5 of all time.

1. Walter Payton
2. Barry Sanders
3. Jim Brown
4. L. T.
5. Derick Henry

All of these guys are better RB's than Emmitt Smith, Dickerson, Frank Gore, Curtis Martin, and Jerome Bettis

Reminds me of Clowney highlights. A man amongst boys. Even the RBs couldn’t keep up when he was running back fumbles.

I love how the video pauses to circle him in the backfield...yea, we know, he's the giant plowing over everyone

If you have THAT horse why wouldn’t you ride him though?

Derrick was on a podcast maybe back in the Summer. I think some former LSU dude’s podcast and he was asked if thought he was the best back to come out of Bama and he said he was third behind Shaun and Mark. Dude is so humble that they even pressed him like are you nuts and he said that’s his list. Now if you ask Trent that question he thinks he is #1.

I bet Henry was responsible for many arse chewings by coaches.

coach: "Tackle his arse! Get LOW!!!"

This man is simultaneously bigger than most lineman on the field, while still being the fastest guy on the field. Just how unfair is that to have to line up against him.
It's not like you can even blame his dominance on terrible competition, he's proceeded to do much of the same stuff in the NFL.
