Forget swallowing cotton balls, supermodels now micro-dosing ozempic

"Why do you think I’m on GLP-1? Because every job I do, it’s like you have to fit into a certain standard and a certain measurement, and they’re straight up measuring my hips for all these new fashion jobs I'm getting into in Paris and Milan. There’s requirements I don’t meet. And I know how vapid this industry is, and if I say no to it, they’re just going to pick someone else."

Vanity is a helluva thing for women to over come. That statement has them picking a job that destroys them and has a very short shelf life.

It's that good ol' retro heroin chic from the 1990s.

Goes to show you society is cyclical.
In the 90's fatties complained because all of the fashion models were rail thin. That then brought about the "body positive" movement which put the equivalent of NFL offensive linemen in bikinis in the SI Swimsuit edition. The fatties didn't want to take any accountability or make any effort to lose weight...so they just worked to change society's views of obesity to being "healthy at any weight".
However, because Ozempic allows people to lose weight without much effort, the "body positive" movement is over because the fatties can now join the thin people club.
The nerds and dweebs hate the "cool kids"...until they become one of the cool kids. Then they immediately want to stuff the nerds in lockers just like the cool kids did to them.

Ariana Grande is either very sick or has an extreme mental condition.
I'm surprised we still don't know which one.
She was cute when she was licking donuts and putting them back.

i think this is good and bad.
good - its possible they they are technically healthier. most of these people don't work out, so are not going to build muscle. but having "meat on your bones" is not necessarily a good thing.
bad - it's not as appealing to men when they are very skinny. even if they are technically healthier.
to an extent we should be happy that people are recognizing that being fat is not attractive. this is the opposite end of that spectrum, but prefer this to obesity.

Miley Cyrus actually looks pretty normal in that picture (aside from her facial surgery, which is bad). But she has always been skinny as a rail basically. But she doesn't have that same gaunt, unhealthy look as the rest of those.
Ariana Grande (I think??) looks terrifying.
