How is this place doing? Seems like the NBR demographic still likes to go there and film Tik Toks.

The LSU Geology department's seismograph indicates some latent activity in that area, but it's beginning to taper off.

disclaimer I have not eaten there and almost assuredly won’t. That said everyone I know who has eaten there says the food is delicious.

The food is good, but when I went, the majority of the crowd seemed to be there for social media cred moreso than the food.

There also were no shootings in the parking lot. Can't say that about a lot of BR places.

Yep, I constantly hear the food is delicious from others. It seems cheesy indeed, but they are still open. It's a local business, I hope they keep succeeding.

It always struck me as a place people went to take pics of themselves and pretend like they were in Goodfellas or something. I did hear the food was good though.

Went to Colonel's Club for our anniversary and spent the latter half in the backroom bar area. Bartender there told us she used to work at Supper Club and that everything is actually very high quality, A5 wagyu flown in, all of that. For what they charge at Supper Club I would not be surprised if that's the case.

What blew me away is there is apparently an after hours membership that Supper Club made specifically so that Brian Kelly can enjoy a drink in peace after a game. I think the invitation price was $7500 with a monthly fee of at least $1000. It would not surprise me if some random old money BR folk got involved in this too.

They tried to sell us on that as well, but doesn’t seem worth it. I didn’t hear the Brian Kelly spiel. Just that they have a private club.

I don’t think I was told 7500. I’m pretty sure it was 5000. Whatever it was, it was more than I already paid for City Club which I just canceled so definite no.

Edit - Food is fantastic and worth the douche factor. The GM is an older man who has worked at several nice spots around town and knows what he’s doing. Great guy.

The movers have moved on, but the shakers are still there.

Who was the douche that first used the movers and shakers line? lol

Food is likely really good. But doesn’t seem like anything you can’t get elsewhere without the crowd factor here.

And I still can’t get over the absolute cringe they had in their menu when they first opened. Not sure if they changed that now.

The food looks phenomenal. Sure there is a cringe factor with some of the clientele but surprising how much hate a great restaurant receives on here. Absolutely reeks of jealousy to be honest

I don't think it's jealousy...

This is a food board. They intentionally designed a restuarant to mirror a high end Vegas restaurant that focuses on sourcing high quality ingredients and not necessarily "chef inspired" (and I think that irks some on here). I think they accomplished exactly what they wanted and I'm glad it's still operating (slightly surpised), but for most folks it's not an every day type of place for most BR folks due to costs, but they didn't design it to be such either.

It was me! And I stand by the original statement. When describing the clientele who were in the restaurant when it opened, I included: lobbyists, state politicians (in session), movers and shakers, and business peeps.

Where would one go to find the people who move and shake in Baton Rouge these days, brah? Where have they moved and shaken onto?

Inquiring minds want to know.
