This would be my first anime but I’ve read the story is incredible.
Worth a watch?

Dude/Dudette
If you start this Journey.
Enjoy it.
You really only get to enjoy it once, and now that the series is finished it might be different for you.
But, some tips
-Pay attention the foreshadowing is incredible, it is extremely detailed.
-The animation between the fights, editing and story telling is one of the best series I`ve ever watched.
-The story is incredible, I never watched anything with that much character depth and development from multiple characters in a series.
-It can be a little intense for an animation.
I know that is subjective. I dont see anything that compares to it at all, across the board.
I hope you enjoy it.
I really enjoyed it and consider it a top 10 series of all time.
If you look up some of the esposides on IMDB, some of them have, some of the highest ratings ever.

The titan fights are cool. Rest of the show was boring. Titans themselves look retarded though.

For your first anime watch Cowboy Bebop.

Yes. Just start watching and decide. I finished it in about 3 weeks.

I absolutely loved it but near the end it got a bit confusing, but I was able to watch some deep dives into it and after a rewatch, I was able to get it.
As the 1st poster said, there is some major foreshadowing on the show and on the rewatch it was fun to catch those moments.

It gets a little crazy at the end but definitely worth watching because what unfolds is epic.

I'm willing to give this a shot - which streamer carries this?

Top 10 show all time for me. Absolutely riveting stuff. The first 3 seasons are peak TV. Some of the scenes are so well directed and well executed that I'll randomly pull them up on youtube on the way to work or on a long drive. Music is some of the best ever, not joking. Going to see the concert at Carnegie Hall in November.
Do not look up anything about it. Just watch it and enjoy the experience. You will ride the emotional rollercoaster and be taken from moments of sheer despair ("there's no way they make it out of this") to moments where you're standing up off the couch and fist pumping, or the inverse LOL
I watched it with my 66yo dad and there were nights where we stayed up till 2-3am. 20min episodes + lots of cliffhangers and breakneck pacing. We'd get to these crazy moments and my dad would be like "well we cant end it on that"

Incredible story. You have to pay attention though. Even stuff from the first episode comes back around to matter at the end.
Also, don’t frick with Captain Levi.

I gave it a shot but couldn't get past the first couple of episodes. I've liked some anime but not others. It's probably just not for me.
Because I'm not a tranny.

Really good.
Last season is disappointing, but has some epic moments. Levi rules

Also, watch the dub. Not only is the english cast amazing, it's also much better translated/localized. Some of the translations on the subbed version are way too literal with 0 localization effort and just sound retarded

My favorite pokemon joke:
What beats a Beast-type?
Levi Ackerman

Very well done if that stuff is what you’re into.

go to cowboy bebop. if you dont like that, you dont like anime (series).
Not saying attack on T is bad, but i think bebop is lil more palatable and easy to get into.

I never cared to watch an anime series before I watched Attack and I haven't watched any since. Attack had me hooked from beginning to end, though. It's a great watch that will stay with you long after you finish it. I can't recommend it enough.

I watched Season 1 and then never went back when the new seasons came out. I liked it, but I want to say there was like a long gap in between the seasons and I just kind of forgot. The first anime I watched was Death Note so if you like AOT maybe check that one out too.

I liked it.. i wouldnt recommend it to someone as their first exposure to anime… its gets pretty dark at times and found myself only able to handle it a few episodes at a time.
I would recommend someone start with cowboy beebop like someone else said or Megalobox / delicious in dungeon
