Smart deadbolt lock recs

I’m looking for a front door deadbolt smart lock that I can access through WiFi/app so I can give out temporary codes and change the current code remotely.
It’s a rental so, low maintenance, good battery life, functional, and controlled remotely are important.
Thanks!

I just bought the Yale - Assure Lock 2 - Smart Lock Wi-Fi Deadbolt with Touchscreen Keypad | Fingerprint Access - Oil Rubbed Bronze, and I do not recommend it.
It SWALLOWS batteries. I replace the 4 batteries about every 1.5 months. Im not worried about the cost of them, just annoying having to replace the batteries so often...

I appreciate the info. It’s a rental that’s 3 states away so this is very helpful info.

I got a U-tec Ultraloq and have loved it. Fingerprint, keycode, key to operate. Can add multiple users with code/fingerprint as well as temp codes (set expiration). Ive never enabled it but can use geolocation of phone to unlock/lock as you arrive/depart...i got the one thats just the deadbolt, so was able to keep the doorhandle that wife preferred and just swapped deadbolt

We have the Kwikset Halo deadbolt and it works great. App is easy to use and easy to create temp and permanent codes. About 3-4 months in between battery changes.

I had a Yale Assure lock at rental. Worked great.
Bought one for office/gun room 4 months back. been nothing but garbage.
I do not recommend Yale anymore.

somebody needs to make a version that the dead bolt contact charges when its locked. power it from the door bell.

+1 on the Schlage branded ones.. 4xAA batteries last 8-10 months with moderate usage.
They actually honor thier replacement warranty... had one crap out on a rental propert after 4 years... one email later and a brand new one arrived in 2 days via UPS.

Schlage is a good one. Reliable. Low cost. I've had a few and never had a problem with any of them.

I've had an August smart lock for several years now, and it has worked great.

I just bought a Eufy that reads your palm, from about 6 inches away from the scanner. Has keypad and key lock too. Will report back once installed . Claims a 99% detection rate.

I have the eufy fingerprint lock with rechargeable battery.
Easily one of the best purchases I've ever made, possibly THE best.

Im not sure how that would work with the door having to swing open? Run a wire through the hinge?

i think what he is implying is some type of charging when the deadbolt is secure built into the plate it extends into.
that plate could then have a wire in the door frame/wall to the doorbell or even to an outlet on that wall.
i thought that was kind of genius.
