A treasure taken way too soon. Wish we could swap Seth Rogan for him

I loved him in movies through the 80’s into the early 90’s. By “Wagons East” his weight had gotten way out of control. I wish he would have taken better care of himself. Planes, Trains, and Automobiles is one of my favorite movies all time.

Is that the polka king of the midwest?

The Great Outdoors is in the top five of movies I’ve watched the most number of times.

I believe that this was the first celebrity death that kinda hit me. I was about 11 but I watched Home Alone, Uncle Buck and Summer Rental a lot when I was younger.

When Atlanta had the Thrashers NHL team, at some point every game they would show the clip from Canadian Bacon where he starts the riot at the hockey game when he says the beer sucks.

A staple in my family growing up. My brother and I still speak in TGO code when we are at family gatherings.
Example: mom will drop a turkey on the table at Thanksgiving and I will turn to my bro and say, “wowwww, bout a two pounder.”
Or mom will ask bro why he hasn’t finished his roast and I’ll ask her if I can get him to get it down will she throw in some Paul Bunyon hats for the kids.

It also didn't help that he was predisposed to heart problems since his dad died prematurely of a heart attack and they had a family history of such.
He also smoked about a pack of cigarettes a day, drank pretty heavily and was know for his recreational drug use----------especially cocaine. He was over 375 lbs. and had a 50 inch waist when he died while filming "Wagons East".

Wow...30 years. Funny actor and from what I've heard, a really good person.
Molly Russel's wart.
