I watched Glory again, it's been a long time since I've seen it, what a great film, Denzel and Morgan Freeman were great. I think I have a tie for my favorite as I can watch any movie that they are in and it's going to be good. I can't recall a movie that they have been in that I haven't liked.

So hard to pick one for me. Clint Eastwood. Matt Damon. Brad Pitt. Leo. Denzel. Honestly Chalamalamadingdong is moving up there too. DDL is a no brainer.

Probably Denzel Washington. And Jason Statham for mindless action stuff. For chicks, Zoe Saldana.

Despite not liking him much when his career first started, Pitt is probably one of my favorites now. His movies i just enjoy, not that he is an outstanding actor so much. I think he does well. Bruce Willis also fits this bill for me.

For actors im just impressed with, Hopkins and Daniel Day Lewis are up there.

Actresses, Kidman was a long time favorite. I have always had a soft spot for Sigourney Weaver.

Eventually Denzel is just being Denzel. He seems to be the same guy in every roll. Guys like Daniel Day Lewis and Gary Oldman are chameleons. That is why I prefer them.

As far as modern actors, Christian Bale, Phillip Seymore Hoffman, Josh Brolin ....though DDL performance as Daniel Plainview is the GOAT.

As for the modern ladies..., Emily Blunt, Rosamund Pike, Toni Collete..all time favorite Jodie Foster

I came here to add Bruce, assuming might be an outside the box entry, and he’s in the first two damn replies

PSH maybe

If you have to be alive maybe Sam Rockwell or Christian Bale.

Old school? Maybe Paul Newman

For the highly variable but sometimes awesome maybe Cage and Robin Williams
