You save up some money, take the family to Wrigley to enjoy a nice afternoon of baseball and before you can even get a solid buzz going… it’s over.
Would this be a let down or good to go?

I’m completely unaffected by this event.

Letdown. I wanna have a bag or 2 of peanuts. Probably a hot dog. In 1 hour and 49 minutes you can't truly enjoy the vibe of pro baseball.

Hate the notion of, “speed up the game.” You pay good money for the tickets, players are paid well to play. Why are we paying more to have shorter outings? I actually have attended way less games since the speed up the game rule changes have gone into effect. Just not worth it to drive across town, pay for parking, spend good money on a couple tickets to pack it up in two hours. Can watch on tv saving time at home and money.

I went to a college game that went 13 innings that finished under 3 hours. Both starting pitchers had a no-hitter going through 7. It was around the two-hour mark through nine. When extra innings started, I kinda felt like I just got there.

Geez how long does it take you? If properly motivated I can summon one up in a minute 49, certainly so for an hour and 49

Sounds like a Greg Maddux game

I'm good with slightly extending the pitch clock. Still maintaining a good pace, but letting things breathe a lil longer.
DEFINITELY good with getting rid of the "ghost runner" in extra innings. That's a trash rule.
I'd like to see MLB fund some baseball academies, much like the Royals had in the early 1970's, to attract great athletes that might not necessarily have a lot of baseball experience. Point here is that I'd like MLB to push for BETTER HITTERS. I'm so sick of the 3-true outcomes. Give me some single and line-drive doubles all day with well-placed bunts.
More action. Better fundamentals. And by GAWD.....more hustle. I hate watching guys half-arse it.

Which is where the real money is. MLB thanks you for being a loyal fan and paying the bills

I'd probably be more irked by the lack of offense

For a mid-week night game? I'm cool with it. It would be a little disappointing for a weekend game.
As much as we loved him, my friends and I hated attending Buehrle starts. There was always a "shite, it's already the 7th inning" moment before we rushed the beer stands.

49 minutes too long for me

Neither
Love that there is no clock like in football and basketball and hockey.
Baseball is awesome

Have no problem with a 3 hour game or a 2 hour game…. Getting out in the sun watching some baseball the time is irrelevant.
