We who live on the New Madrid fault have experienced small earthquakes all our lives. There is nothing newsworthy about this.

It must be building, it was only a 2.5 on PoliTalk.

New Madrid

Shoutout to Uncle Tupelo’s song and lyrics:

Come on, do what you did, roll me under New Madrid
Shake my baby and please bring her back
Cause death won't even be still, caroms over the landfill
Buries us all in its broken back

A 3.2 doesn't "slam" anything.

Not really. It’s the New Madrid fault line. It runs right through that part of Missouri and Tennessee.

Prayers to anyone crossing the Mississippi River Bridge at Cates Landing when the quake hit.

Some Arky 350 pounder just got in her Hitachi Magic Wand from Amazon and her rapture caused her to roll off her bed.

Since it is a log scale, 3.2 is about 8 times 2.5.

Look out around 2 AM.
