I love LSU and am not generally negative but, to me, he's a lazy HC. Doesn't manage his coordinators well. Poor choice of OC. Will never be better than mediocre...

Additionally LSU could not manage a change at the position due to current investment. Are we stuck?

He's the winningest active coach in college football, but sure, he's mediocre and lazy.

One thing is obvious, OP wears a helmet and drools on himself.

You do realize he has been the National Coach of the year 3 times, and 2 additional times in D2?

It is just not on him alone. Kelly, Sloan and Baker have something to do about LSU's success also. They have a loaded roster this year and a great QB. If not this year, then it could be another 2 or 3 years after Nuss leaves.

He's 34-34 against top 25 teams including his time at ND.
He's a good coach.
He has never been an elite coach and never deserved the contract LSU gave him.
He has resources and talent at LSU (particularly this year), so he might have an outside shot, but we have enough history to conclude it is not likely..

Stovall was NCY one year before he was fired.

That’s weird because he was certainly more than mediocre in year 1 (2022).

That season was great and all but it really put us ahead of schedule. Kelly had no business beating Bama and playing for a conference championship year 1 with a team that was thrown together with duct tape and gorilla glue

This should be post of the year. You have more downvotes than upvotes but no one on this board can refute what you wrote. Not one single line can be refuted. We're all hoping something magical happens this season. If he wins it, I will be first in line to give him his props. However I feel about BK though, I'll always be an LSU fan and cheer for our players. Every game.
