‘26: Shinnecock Hills
'27: Pebble
'28: Winged Foot
'29: Pinehurst #2
'30: Merion

Does he get it done at any of those or need more tries?

I’ll say he completes it at Pebble

If it’s a calm wind year, he’ll shoot 20 under at Pebble

There is no “bad” course for him

I guess a course that requires more draws hurts him a bit. And merion is shorter which brings more guys into the fold

I don’t see how he doesn’t get it done at pebble, pine hurst, or merion.

He be favored at all of them if his current form continues, but those three venues just set up perfectly for him

He’ll be the favorite next year, but he’s the favorite in every tournament he plays

I think he will get it in that time frame.

If he feels like winning, he will win.

Id vote against. It isnt that easy. Lots of new phenoms have come and gone. Not sure about the supernatural golf only drive he says he doesnt have that you probably need to have

My personal line is once you’ve sustained more than 18 months of elite play, you likely have a lot of staying power. We see guys go on 12-14 months run of great play, but then it fizzles out. Clark, Fitzpatrick, Cantlay, etc.

But Scottie is 2+ years into this run with a could have small ebbs, this seems to just be his level. I just don’t see how he doesn’t run off one of these, especially given a few of the venues and how they’ll set up for him

He might win 2+ of those.

Dude is unreal. He’s on a top 5 (or better) all time trajectory and does not even need to do much more to pass Rory.

He has 4 total and the only 2 with more currently are Brooks and Rory (i dont count Phil or Tiger due to age and injury). Both of them have 5 I think, he could realistically pass them next year.

Was very surprised he didn’t run away with Oakmont the way he is putting this year. Was just an off weekend.

Pinehurst is a crap shoot. That course is so brutal.

Don’t remember much from Shinnecock but he should still do well there.

Pebble feels like a mortal lock.

Actually 3+ years into it.
He won that first Masters in '22.

If he could have knocked off Fitz in '22, today would have completed the career slam. So close...

But getting the slam by winning at any one of these courses would be storybook.

Next year. On his 30th birthday + Fathers Day.

Can’t write a better script.

It was off and he still finished T-7

I think he’ll do it, but you never know, it’s pretty rare. Only 6 guys have done it in the history of the game. It took Rory 11 years to finish it off, Spieth is still looking to complete it after winning the Open in 2017, and Arnold and Watson had three of the four legs but couldn’t get the PGA, and throw in Phil coming up short without a US Open.

I’d like him to wait until 2033 when they’re back at Oakmont so I can say I saw it. You figure he’ll have 20+ chances to do it though, so we’ll see.

You know it’s killing Rory that his spotlight after masters slam faded so quickly thx to Schefflers dominance

He should have won it the 10 tries before instead of pissing down his leg multiple times
