In a given week, I work from my home office half the time and work from company office the other half. I'm looking for a reliable backpack that can hold a 15” laptop, 16” portable monitor, peripherals (laptop/monitor battery and cables, mouse) and have room for other misc. items (multiple notepads, calculator, pens/pencils, phone chargers). I appreciate any backpack recs that others have. Thanks!

I use a Travelpro Platinum. No complaints and has a good lifetime warranty just like their luggage.

I've been using this OGIO since 2016 and it has held up phenomenally. Many places for storing knick knacks.

I have a Swiss Gear that I've used for 10+ years and it's been great.

Recently I had a trip where I needed even more camera/computer gear than the Swiss Gear would hold so I picked up one of these from Amazon:

SHRRADOO Extra Large 50L Travel Laptop Backpack

It does the job if you want a lot of capacity. The USB charging port is pretty stupid and I removed it, but the bag overall is solid and is obviously copied somewhat from Swiss Gear.

GoRuck Bullet. Mine's in Frogskin.

Laptop compartment, two interior zippered pockets, with one mesh. Exterior zippered pocket, MOLLE webbing on the outside (on my version). And glorious space for whatever subtle "frick the office" morale patch you decide to decorate it with.

Took that backpack with me on a work conference to NYC last month. Ended up packing 3 days worth of clothes and all my electronics in it.

Second Swiss Gear.

Been having one for 20 years, traveled all over the world with it and daily to work. Damn thing still looks brand new

If it’s 2-3 days and I’m not in need of daily suits - it’s perfect.

Went through this search a few months ago. My main need was to hold my laptop and a few other electronics, have a decent admin pocket, and be able to pack for overnight work trips in one bag.

It was between the Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5, Evergoods CTB26, Tom Bihn Synik 26, and GoRuck GR2.

Ended up going with the Alpha One Niner Evade 1.5. Only thing lacking to me is I wish the laptop compartment was a little different and not built into the main compartment. That's more due to my travel needs through. Quality is off the charts.
