The first movie is being released with the BASL
There’s French sign language and British sign language…I just thought for some reason there was a standard sign language.

It is called "American Sign Language" or "ASL" for a reason.

I don't understand the need for ASL or 'BASL' in television programming... don't deaf people know how to read closed captioning?
I read the short article on BASL... it is ridiculous. Absolutely ridiculous.

Sinners was actually really good. Sort of a new take on From Dusk Til Dawn, but the first half is better than FDTD. I was prepared to be let down by it, but it was cool.
And the mid credits scene was awesome.

Seems crazy. They just made it up to teach deaf kids where no one knew ASL?

I wonder if the N word is the same in regular sign language and black sign language...or do they just point to themselves?

I thought this was common knowledge going back to the 1980s

Honestly, this could get good. Silent poetry.

Are those motherfrickers too good for closed captioning for the hearing impaired?

I feel like they do this with those fans.
When did that start? The gays like them too.

That is not sign language. That is a phenomenon known as Low IQ Palsy.

“These signed phrases involve more body language and look different than typical ASL gestures.”
Just what I thought: grab your crotch with one hand, slide to side, hand jester with other hand and scream frick you bitch.

That movie sucks. I didn't even finish it.

Someone told me awhile back that the "deaf community" is a difficult bunch, Evidently there is an organization of some type that tells the deaf people they are in contact with that they are being denied if places don't have someone who can sign language available... Even if there are other ways for them to communicate like using something text based, etc so if I had to guess, that's probably whats going on.
The organization sounds more like a union for people who sign language (and work jobs doing so).
