Turn your mower over. Spray the underside with Pam or another spray cooking oil. Nothing will clump or Stick. You’ll thank me later. WD-40 will also do the trick.

Or just wait to cut grass at 7pm when it feels nice outside

I would inform my lawncare specialist, Jose, about this tip, but, unfortunately, Jose has been deported.

If you’re going to be turning your mower over, undo the gas cap, lay a ziplock bag over it, and screw the cap back on.

You’ll thank me later.

The reasoning for that is because grass would normally clump . It won’t happen if you do that.

I’ll be sure to translate that into Spanish for my landscapers on Tuesday.

If you are not a lawn care company, why does it matter to you? I cut my grass myself and wait for the Dew to evaporate. I am not a lawn care company that has to start at 6:00am lol

630-830 is the GOAT for blades down. I have no idea why people think morning is the time to be out there.

Is the grass stopping you from doing that?

There seems to be at least two schools of thought about that. I have always waited until it was mostly dry before I cut but I had a brother in law who claimed it was better to cut when it was still a little damp because it cuts better.

I'm not sure if that's true or not but I still wait for it to dry myself

I ain’t no botanist, but that doesn’t sound like it’s good for your lawn.

And isn’t the OT violently opposed to early morning mowing?

ETA: From a hydraulics standpoint, won’t the force of the mower blade on the grass blade cause far more hydroshock damage to the plant than it would if dry?

(I’m pulling this straight out of my arse, mind you).
