Right hand pitcher Joey Volchko(Stanford)entered the portal with a do not contact tag.
He’s listed as the #15 draft prospect in 2026 according to Baseball America.
Anyone know if he’s had contact with LSU?

We're on him. His numbers are not very good, but obviously has major talent and worth a shot to get him right.

His scouting report said he top out in triple digits and slider betweeen high eighties and low nineties seems like another chase shores

I read he has a no contact, which assumes he may be dialed into 1 or 2 possibilities.

I gues if Greg Maddox walked through the door that would be ok too. Maybe you could show us where they're creating new Maddox's.

Yeah, he was clearly being saracastc. I think we are all fans of anyone throwing that kind of heat. I think I remember Lester being a bit hesitant or less enthusiastic on Mayers for the walks though. I say bring in the talent and see if you can do something positive with it.
